Fear is as natural a part of the human condition as any other force that moves us around the battlefield of life. In fact, it’s one of the most powerful emotions used by the Negative Insurgency to thwart progress in our lives. From our earliest moments, the genetic presence of Fear controls our movement and is interwoven into our existence and primordial drive to survive. Through the cries of a baby’s hunger pains and the screams of a toddler’s terror, we become acutely aware of Fear’s power over our physical, mental and spiritual perceptions. By the time we solidify our logical process, Fear is integrated into our behavioral regimen as well. When young adulthood seems to smother us with a perpetual state of contrived judgment, it’s no wonder that the Insurgency smiles as we fall prey to Fear’s temptations and sorrows. And finally as time releases us “once more unto the breach” of adulthood and the true combat of life, we are consumed by the forces of our internal nature and compelled to choose. Will you allow your Fear to defeat you or will you learn to Embrace Your Fears?

For the past 20 years I have been exploring the human condition, searching for the truths about what enables us to succeed in any environment imaginable. This journey has taken me from the depths of depression in college to the forging of men in SEAL Training. I have swallowed the pain of suffering in the ERs of New York City and tasted the bitter sweet realities of War. My eyes still burn from the destitution of forgotten children in Afghanistan and Haiti. My heart floats on the memories of marrying close friends in front of God and family. My spirit is dominated by the infinite love I have for my children, wife, family, friends, teammates and followers. Exploration teaches us to survive. It teaches us who we are and why we are here. I want to share my journey with you.

Over the next 7 weeks I will be leading a profound expedition into the abyss of Fear. Throughout all my experiences as a Collegiate Athlete, Navy SEAL Medic and Instructor, International Training Specialist, Security Protection Expert, Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, Performance Coach, Self-Help Author, YouTube personality, Radio Show host and Social Media enthusiast, I have learned that in order to achieve your dreams you must learn to Embrace Fear. Period. It is my mission to share with you what I have learned. We at Team Froglogic want you to join us for the next month and a half as we release mountains of continuous FREE motivational content to help you learn to Embrace Your Fears.

Starting next Monday we will release a new Froglogic Motivational Video, followed by an inspiring blog on Wednesday, and finally on Saturday a live, call-in radio show about Embracing Fear to close out the week. This will continue for 7 weeks. We all need help in understanding the human condition, especially as it relates to Fear. Please tell your family, friends, and teammates to follow me as we embark on this epic journey to Embrace Fear.

My greatest fear is not being able to defend myself in a fight or active shooter or something like that.
Do you have any suggestions as to what kind of training a guy could take to feel more confident in such situations?
I have heard that S.C.A.R.S. is the best a guy can get but do you have any other suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Jerry
